This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other international standards.

1. Information We Collect

To provide world-class recruitment services, we must collect certain personal and professional details. In general, we categorize this data as follows:

Because we operate in the UK and EU, we ensure all data processing has a valid legal basis.

  • Legitimate Interest: Most of our recruitment activity is conducted under “legitimate interest,” as we connect professionals with career-enhancing roles.
  • Consent: However, where required by law, we will seek your explicit consent before sharing your details with specific third-party clients.
  • Contractual Necessity: Moreover, processing may be necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to our clients.

4. Data Sharing & Global Transfers

Aristo Search is a global organization. As a result, your data may be transferred across international borders.

  • Sharing with Clients: We only share candidate data with clients who have a genuine hiring need. Specifically, we vet all clients to ensure they maintain high data protection standards.
  • International Transfers: When data moves between the US, UK, EU, or Australia, we utilize Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure your rights remain protected.
  • No Sale of Data: Importantly, Aristo Search does not sell your personal information to third-party marketers.

We have implemented robust technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access. Specifically, we use encryption and secure servers to house all professional records.

Regarding retention, we only store your data for as long as it is necessary for our recruitment services or to meet legal requirements. Subsequently, if we have had no meaningful contact with you for a period of five years, your data will be securely deleted or anonymized.
